A routine seen by...

When Midnight 00.00 invited me to participate in their project "A Routine Seen By", I found a meaningful connection between my artistic practice in ceramics and the brand's cosmetic products: porosity. This concept became the central axis of my proposal.

I created two pieces specifically designed for the facial routine and the After Five parfum. These pieces stand out for a unique feature: they are conceived to absorb the brand's products, achieved by firing the ceramics at a low temperature. This process allows the material to retain its natural porosity, mirroring the properties of skin.

In skin, porosity acts as a threshold: an open space that enables the exchange of air and water vapor, as well as the absorption of fluids that nourish or transform its balance. In ceramics, this same quality defines its ability to retain liquids or let them pass through, shaping its interaction with the environment.

In both cases, porosity reflects an openness to the world: a capacity to receive, transform, and adapt. Through these pieces, I aim to engage with this essential quality, connecting the material properties of ceramics with the dynamics of the skin and the cosmetic ritual.
